The Annual Scientific Conference for the department will be held as from28th October - 1st November, 2002 at Malawi Institute of Management Campus in Lilongwe - Malawi.

This conference will be opened by the Guest of honour from the Minisrty of Agriculture.

8.30 - 8.35 hrs	Briefing the guest of honour by the Principal Secretary
8.35 -9.35 hrs	Guest of honour and all invited guests review the agricultural technologies on display
9.30-9.35 hrs	All invited guest take their seats
9.35-9.40 hrs	Guest of honour enters the conference hall
9.40-10.10 hrs	Opening Speeches
10.10-10.15 hrs	Group photograph
10.15-10.30 hrs	Coffee break followed by departure of guest of honour
10.45-12.30 hrs	Scientific paper presentation
