Unit for the Rehabilitation of the Environment. It is an independent Non-
Governmental Organisation established in March 1994, in an effort to provide
technical support and improve networking amongst NGOS, the Government of
Malawi, Donors and other organizations or individuals working in the area
of Environnt. |

NGOs enhance the impact, gender equityand sustainability of community based
natural resource management interventions through capacity building, coordination,
information exchange and advocacy. |
