What is Chisomo?
Chisomo Children’s Club aims to bring about long term change in the

on the streets. It enables the children to have a hope and a future,
helping them and their families to escape dependency. It promotes

The Malawi Situation
Malawi is the poorest country in the world that
is not either involved in, or recovering from, civil war. Life
expectancy is now 39 years old due to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. The Malawi
government estimates that there are now more than 2 million orphans out
