UNIVERSITY OF MALAWI University Office PRESS RELEASE Unima 2009/2010 Non-Residential Admissions The University of Malawi is pleased to announce names of candidates who have been selected to pursue various degree programmes in the University on non-residential basis. A total of 579 candidates have been selected: 294 males and 285 females representing almost 50:50 gender distribution. Those selected would be required to pay tuition fees amounting to K115,000 each per year for science courses and K100,000 per year for other courses. In addition, the successful candidates would be expected to find and pay for their own accommodation together with meals. The selection into non-residential programmes was based on merit for those that had applied. Successful candidates who have been selected to go to Bunda College and Chancellor College are advised to report to their respective Colleges for orientation on 8th February, 2010. Those selected to the Polytechnic are advised to report on 28th February, 2010 for registration.
